SCOTTISH BOYS CHAMPIONSHIP - Murdoch ousted in round two

Of the seven Ayrshire players through to round two of the 2015 Scottish Boys Championship at Dunbar this week, only two were in action on Tuesday afternoon.

Luke Murdoch (Loudoun) bowed out of the championship following a 5 & 4 defeat by Darren Howie (Peebles).

Ewan Milligan (Kilmarnock Barassie) was all square with Graeme Gillies (Pumpherston) after seven holes when play ended for the day, and will complete his second round tie early on Wednesday morning.

Also exiting the championship on Tuesday afternoon was Hamish Mills of Cardross, who is also a member of largs, who went down by one hole against John Paterson (St Andrews New).

The remaining second round ties are scheduled to be completed on Wednesday morning.
