BATTLE TROPHY - Joint fourth and Course Record for McDonald at Crail.

Jack McDonald (Kilmarnock Barassie) set a new course record over the Craighead links of the Crail Golfing Society in Fife on his way to joint fourth on Sunday 20th April in the 72 hole Battle Trophy competition.

On a day when the course record was beaten no less than three times, McDonald nine under par score of 63 in the final round contained nine birdies and no bogeys.

Nick McAndrew (Royal Aberdeen) won the title after a play off with Jamie Savage (Cawder), the pair locked in first place on two under par.
